"This hotel is excellent for cyclists and walkers with great facilities for both including dog friendly hotel, but if you’re not either of those then the hotel is just as great too. We were on a business trip and I have stayed here before for a just a night and this was the reason we stayed again. Friendly staff, mini bar in the room, free water, tea, and a coffee machine was a nice touch. The independent Italian restaurant has Bareca was reasonably priced and also with friendly staff in my opinion was very nice. "

"All Staff were so welcoming and engaging with the guests. Lin on reception was particularly fabulous! Breakfast was a buffet style- cooked and continental- unlimited drinks- all freshly cooked and hot! Views from the dining room looked out over the bay! Nice and central to explore North Yorkshire! Comfortable room with good facilities, some areas are being redecorated which could be seen but didn’t affect our stay at all! Thank you "

"Amazing stay at St Hildas Complex..Beautiful accommodation in a area surrounded by walks to the sea..Fab food and the nicest staff you could ever wish to meet. Not forgetting Dora the adorableCockerpoo...If your thinking of holidaying near Staithes/runswick Bay / Sandsend /Whitby this is the place you need to say....oh and the lemon muffins at breakfast are to die for..The bus stop is 30 seconds away were it costs £3 to go anywhere .."

"The self check in was great but on leaving we could not lock the key in , the room was perfect for a 2 night stay , also we like if you needed anything for your room it was there on the landing or downstairs "

"This guest house is one of the cleanest properties I have stayed in. Rooms are compact, but comfortable. The shared bathroom isn’t really shared as a lot of the rooms have en-suite, so don’t let it put you off if that is the only room available. The towels provided are thick and fluffy. Deania the host is very welcoming and will make sure you are happy. "

"Lovely quiet hotel in a small quiet village on the outskirts of Scarborough. Rooms were spotless, comfy beds, extra pillows already in room, fantastic shower (best we've had in a hotel), molten brown toiletries. Only down side was the noise from the extractor fan as we were in the back of the hotel. When mentioned staff were very apologetic as it hadnt been switched off at 9 as it should have been. Only gave 4/5 for amenities as there was only limited choice for gluten free evening meal, food otherwise was delicious. Would definitely recommend"
