"We were very impressed with the Imabari Kokusai Hotel. It is truly an elegant property with a wonderful lobby and choice on-site restaurant choices. I especially enjoyed the huge ship models in the lobby, paying homage to Imabari's ship building industry. We would not hesitate to stay again and will make time during our next visit to have a drink at the bar and soak in the view of the Seto Inland Sea at dusk. The onsen was very relaxing and the pleasant buffet breakfast was a treat!"

"Lovely small on the Shimanami Kaido bicycle route. Spacious room with Japanese style beds on raised platform and tatami mat sitting area with table and cushions. In-room amenities included electric kettle with tea and coffee supplies, Bose Bluetooth speaker, safe, complimentary water, juice, and beer. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. There are onsite baths, but we didn’t use them. The hotel is located on a charming street, just a few steps from the water and right near the ferry port. There were several restaurants but midweek many were closed. We did enjoy dinner at a place specializing in eel tempura which was very good, and there is a cafe a few steps away that makes excellent coffee. "

"This place is awesome. I wish we had stayed longer. We stopped here for the night because it is the half way point for the Shimanami Kaido bike route. The residence was an independent structure with a large window looking out to the sea and the bridge. Sunrise was gorgeous. The unit has a beautiful bathroom, very nice bedroom and new clean kitchen. Everything about the residence was top-notch, including the amenities. The breakfast and dinner that we chose were amazing. Loved this place. "

"I made a mistake while reserving and arrived the day after (the day I thought I had booked). They were very kind to allow me to check in without paying again. That was a great gesture. Nice hotel close to the port, and 20 minutes from the train station. Breakfast was good. "

"Place was very clean and the friendly staff were attentive to my requests. New towels and prouducts were replaced each day as well as the beddings .The breakfast options were delicious. Anyone visiting Mihara should definitely book their stay here."
