"Excellent location by central train station, metro entrance, and crossroads for most main tram lines. Clean, quiet rooms with very comfortable beds and good bathrooms. We stayed here twice while in Oslo and both times had a great view of the busy railway square, opera house, and harbor. Wonderful, helpful staff. Incredible breakfast buffet where we had our main meal every day and serving staff there are excellent. For early bird departures (we left at 6:45 am) they arrange a small buffet selection in the hotel bar starting at 4:30 am. Convenient sauna, steam room, and pool in hotel basement with lockers and showers. Highly recommend this hotel and will gladly stay here again while in Oslo."

"It is great modern hotel - very friendly and helpful staff and good value for money by Oslo standards. That is probably because it is away from the centre in a fairly uninspiring location. We didn’t have a car so travelled in and out via Okern T-bane station - it’s about a 10-15 minute walk away - not too far, but not super convenient. I wouldn’t like doing the walk after dark and once you are at the hotel, you’re stuck there. The top floor bar and restaurant is pretty run of the mill with a limited menu and, of course, the usual Oslo prices. I don’t mind paying high prices, but it has to be for exceptional food. My only other comment is that everything is very high tech (loved the lifts), but sometimes the controls in the room were a bit too clever by half. "
