"...but nothing more. My single room was clean but minescule. No maid service during my two-night stay. A good breakfast buffet. More like a 15-20 minute walk to the much more vibrant heart of the city, which is definitely worth a visit. Also, average value."

"Super nice, recently and thoughtfully renovated. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our rooms on the top floor were spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. Windows were essentially soundproof once closed. Decent breakfast. Taking some stairs was unavoidable, as the elevator only stopped between flights, but it did make going up and down easier. Very close to the Salzburg Hauptbahnhof and several buses stop across the street or just down the block. Would happily stay there again!"

"Very cozy little B&B with excellent hosts. It has a unique interior design, clean and nicely decorated rooms, very goof breakfast, free parking, and overall, we had a really good time staying at Villa Verde. Lack of air conditioning on hot Salzburg nights we encountered was a bit of an issue and the location did require some walking to get to the old city center (which would not have been an issue if the temperature was not >30 degrees of celsius). But otherwise - definitely an excellent choice...
