"As soon as I walked in the smoke alarm was beeping so I had to contact the host and wait for that to be fixed. Then I went to take a hot shower and relax….. no hot water. And I’m talking the water was ice cold. Contacted and they came to look at it. The man went into the bathroom with the shower on and shut the door. "Great location and helpful owner! Just minutes from JFK, short drive to Flushing Meadows and LaGuardia. Had a good time with extended family. Comfy beds, furniture. Some small hiccups in a newly refurbed place and first-time rental, for example, soap, salt-pepper, and 3 fun functional restrooms items should help. "We had a great visit with lots of space to hang out, play games, watch TV and cook. The house is well-equipped with kitchen items, towels, bathroom items etc. Location is close to beach, LIRR and tons of restaurants & shopping. Super convenient! We enjoyed our stay and would consider renting again, esp in summer months. "
