"We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The shared bathrooms were almost always available when needed and if they were occupied, you could go down a few floors and find a free one. The woman who checked us in was very sweet. She let us store our bags upon check in and promised to call us when our room was ready. She even allowed us to check in earlier than normal. When we checked out, our flight wasn’t until very late in the evening. They allowed us to store bags again and we could relax in the common areas until our flight that evening. I recommend this place. It’s very beautiful and makes for a comfortable stay."

"A great little hotel near the Alfama district and close to Metro stops, restaurants, etc. My room was on the fifth floor, which meant taking the elevator to 4 and walking the final flight but that was fine. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious and abundant. (Staggered breakfast times avoided any overcrowding.) The lighting in my room was a little dim, making it hard to read or work at night, but overall the hotel has a very modern feel and my stay was very satisfying."
