"Wonderful place to stay with family.The pool and huge garden were great for the kids (well, for everyone really!).Lovely outdoor spaces and a great barbecue.Kitchen and dining area are large and very well equipped.Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable with nice towels and linens provided.Lounge area was large and comfortable - but all of the outdoor space is so lovely we hardly spent any time inside.Tracy is a great host - very helpful and easy to communicate with.Recommend Le Peyrat very very highly!"

"We really enjoyed our stay, what a wonderful place. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, comfy bed. Our hosts were welcoming and between us we managed some good conversations with our shared knowledge of French & English. The pool was very welcomed after a hot day and the glass of rose wine enjoyed after our swim was delightful. Our hosts very kindly booked us a table at a nearby restaurant and gave us a map to help us find it. We slept brilliantly and woke the next day to a delicious breakfast of cereals, fresh fruits, yoghurt and pastries, fresh bread, meats and cheeses. Thank you so much for making us welcome, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"A lovely break - the house was pretty much as described.The pool is great - the outside eating space is fantastic and there are 3 big fridges to keep everything cold. The living accommodation is great and it really is a lovely house. Tennis court is in good nick - but bring your own racquets and balls as the stuff there is not great.Thierry - who sorts out any issues was great and really responsive. A few small negatives - the oven is pretty useless and I see that previous reviews have mentioned this - a low cost solution that would make things easier for guests. Secondly - there are no restaurants within walking distance as in the description - but some good ones a short drive away. Finally - you have to pay to use the bikes in the photos - 20 euros a bike - just so you are aware these are not included. "

"A beautiful and well appointed cottage surrounded by unspoilt countryside. Perfect for nature lovers and those who wish to have a break from hectic city life. The cottage is tastefully furnished and had all the facilities we needed for our 16-night stay, including washing machine, ironing board and a good assortment of kitchen utensils. Alain and Martine, the owners, who occupy the adjacent house, were delightful and Alain gave us many useful tips on what to see in the area and to best restaurants to choose for a memorable lunch or dinner. "Returned to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary just for one night. Although rooms are quite basic in decoration, the chateau is incredible and the dinner was exceptional. We loved it and will definitely return again. "
