"Well what an absolute treat this place was. My son and I travel for his sport and to be honest we tend to just book the cheapest place we can find as we’re hardly there. However, this time he asked for a pool to relax after his race. Norton Grange was only £20 more than the budget hotel I was going to book so I booked it. And I am so glad I did. Not one thing I could complain about. Yes it’s a little tired in places but it’s an older hotel, and to be expected but it’s easily the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in. The room was absolutely amazing. Spacious and comfortable with everything we could possibly need. The pool was a tad chilly but we stumbled upon the Jacuzzi and WOW!! What an amazing facility. So relaxing and absolutely stunning to be open to the outside. Beautiful. We loved it. I was truly floored by how amazing the facilities are with prices so reasonable. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but could tell that it serves delectable food, it was packed. Staff are so friendly and helpful and when we asked if my son’s race bike could be kept inside for safety they didn’t bat an eyelid. They took it and stored it safely for us. We have since booked 3 more visits and will be our go to hotel when ever we race in Manchester in future. The option to pay for early check-in or even use of the facilities early would be great as what with practice and early starts we were so sad to not have more time to enjoy your beautiful hotel. We will be spreading the word. "

"Easy to find, plenty of parking, close to motorway on ram, is a one way system around the hotel. Is part of a business building, reception on 2nd floor with 9 steps down to check in. Restaurant is 9 steps up on this floor. Lifts only go to floors in between so there are 9 steps either up or down to get to rooms. Managed fine with luggage. There is some redevelopment happening but only a little noise. Tram only 5 minute walk. Aldi next door."

"Booked to stay here when seeing Lady Gaga solo. Mannie at reception was really welcoming, very friendly and was more than happy to make sure I was comfortable and go the extra mile. Very little noise from the other guests, only when walking past the door. Housekeeping staff were great too, they chatted away. There's reception 24/7. The area looks a little rough but everyone is really nice and there's plenty of food places around on just eat! Will be back next time I'm at my next concert."

"Absolutely fantastic stay. The breakfast alone deserves a mention. Usually you go to a place that has all inclusive breakfast, and it’s a loaf of bread, bit of milk , an apple and cornflakes…. Not here! The sheer amount of choice was incredible, catering for everyone from vegans and vegetarians to those who are gluten-free. There was even a mix of wholemeal , gluten free and white bread, fruits, all types of alternative milk, pastries , pancakes, yoghurts, cheese, 5 or 6 cereals(and gf!)and the option to cook yourself a full veggie/ vegan/ meat English exactly how you like it. The bed was really comfortable, the place spotless, and I felt completely secure throughout my stay. The people I shared with were lovely, and Peter, the owner, was the perfect host — couldn’t do enough to help. We chatted for hours, and he was a hive of local knowledge, full of great tips on places to visit, eat, and how to get around. This place is also dog friendly at NO additional charge. How many places can you say that for in Manchester?! I’ll definitely be going back and can’t wait for the next excuse to come to Manchester. "
