Villa With Private Pool And Lovely Country Views

Casa Kuito is our lovely villa in a peaceful rural setting overlooking the hills close to the historic town of Estoi, famous for is 18th Century Viscount's Palace and Roman Ruins. The villa is on a very quiet side road 5 minutes by car from Estoi, with no overlooking houses and panoramic views over the hills. The two bedroomed villa has a large south facing private pool with chill out sunbeds and shades, BBQ and al fresco dining area, veranda with bistro table for quiet sundowners and all amenities (free internet, multi channel TV, DVDs and fully equipped kitchen). Transport links are excellent - we are only 20 mins from Faro airport, within easy driving distance of many beaches and golf courses and close to the motorway to the Western Algarve or Spain ( but cannot hear it at all it's on the other side of the hill). Estoi has small supermarkets, local restaurants and a monthly street market.

Peaceful and private
Overall we had an enjoyable time here … very peaceful and private - which was our key requirement with a good sized pool The property is a little tired but reflective in the price and it would benefit from air conditioning as the first few nights were extremely hot … there are fans provided but they are not adequate in extreme heat … It’s about 20 mins drive to most decent places and that is fine for us as we had peace and quiet .

Nice villa.Great location if you have a car.
Idyllic countryside location. Only noise is barking dogs but you get that everywhere, otherwise lovely and peaceful. You definitely need a car, nothing is within walking distance. Villa is a bit tatty but that didn’t bother us at all. It’s fine.Pool is lovely, bedding is clean.Garden is a delight. Bit musty on arrival but that probably can’t be helped. Would come again.

Belle villa avec quelques améliorations
L'emplacement est idéal pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille, aucun vis à vis. Le confort y est. La piscine était propre et agréable. Seul la propreté manqué au niveau de la cuisine, ce que nous avons du nettoyer nous même et très décevant vu le prix de la location.

Espaço agradável e tranquilo. Podia estar mais limpo dentro de casa, principalmente a cozinha. A principal crítica negativa que faço é que a piscina deveria ter as bombas a funcionar mais vezes por dia pois a piscina tem muitos insetos e folhas a caírem dentro de água regularmente. De resto passei umas férias tranquilas e relaxantes.

Arrived at the villa very late due to a 3 hour flight delay but found it easily with owners directions. The bed felt damp the first night, it took a couple of nights of having the wood burner on till the villa aired out. At the start of the holiday we were glad we'd only booked 1 week but by the end we'd have happily stayed longer.

Lovely Tranquil Villa
We spent 10 relaxing days at the villa , close enough to all amenities if you want them but far enough away to be out of the hustle bustle of main resorts.

idyllic location
great views from all balconles, this villa is perfectly located if you dont want to be town. We always split our 2 weeks in Portugal ( the other week was in Alvor beach) so as to get the best of both worlds. spent the days round the pool and used the excellent bbq at night. Recommend a trip to Trevira, which is fairly near by car. Only slight drawback is the dogs barking at night, but this lessens during the day ( but this happens all over portugal)

Just returned from two weeks in Casa Kuito. Due to arriving late and diversion in Estoi we got lost but were led to the villa by a lovely lady, Helena, from O Cerro restaurant in Alcaria Cova (lovely home cooked food and reasonably priced by the way). Casa Kuito is extremely well equipped with stunning views from the terrace. Swimming pool is a really good size. Location is peaceful, apart from the farm dogs!!! The roads (and local drivers) do leave a lot to be desired at times. Estoi is a very old town. Olhao is about 20 minute drive away where there are many excellent restaurants along the front. Took boat trip to four of the islands (Excellenz are based along the front opposite large hotel and Tiago was a really good guide in his speedboat). Tavira was by far the prettiest place we visited - a must. All in all we had a lovely stay and would recommend the Eastern Algarve, if you prefer the more unspoilt and less commercial destination.

Wonderful spot to explore Algarve and relax at the end of the day
My wife, two boys and I had a wondeful time at Casa Kuito. The villa comfortably houses four. It is equipped with all the creature comforts. There is an outside bbq to complement a full and well-equipped kitchen. The owners had very detailed written instructions to find everything we needed around the house. The pool and the views are indeed quite nice, and very soothing at the end of a day of adventure. We spent a good chunk exploring the region by bicycle (we highly recommend lisabikes 3km away for bike quality and service), and the villa is a great launchpad for different bike trips.

Lovely Secluded Villa for a relaxing holiday
All the information for the villa was detailed and clear. The directions to the villa from the airport were easy to follow. A car is highly recommended. The Villa itself was comfortable, clean and tidy. There is clean BBQ next to a outdoor table, the lighting is sufficient for a night time meal, but you'll have to bring your own light for the BBQ. The pool is clean, although you may have to fish out a leaf or two, all the necessary equipment is easily accessible, including deck chairs and floats which are stored in the garage. The response time for inquiries both before and during our stay were quick, within 24h, and were very helpful. The Position of the Villa is a comfortable distance from Faro for any activities or for the beach. Estoi by car is only a short drive away and the local shop stocks all necessities.

La villa est comme sur l’annonce. Premièrement très bon contact dès le début par mail, avant même l’arrivée. Au moment de trouver la maison, pas besoin de gps, les indications fournies étaient à la hauteur et nous avons trouvé depuis l’aéroport sans difficulté . Des l’arrivée , nous avons été charmées par l’environnement de campagne un peu montagneuse, très jolie, et très au calme, en restant proche des belles petites villes et à 18kms de Faro. Maison magnifique, l’extérieur fleuri et bien entretenu, piscine impeccable et très appréciable à l’arrivée. Aucun vis à vis, solitude et tranquillité sont au rendez-vous et nous recherchions cela . Intérieur très propre et vraiment bien équipé. Les propriétaires ont vraiment pensé à tout. Très fonctionnel. Nous reviendrions avec plaisir. Nous avons noté deux points dérangeants, au loin nous entendons des chiens aboyer et cela trouble la quiétude du lieu. Dans une des deux chambres , un matelas un peu vieillissant. Ce sont les deux seuls points et cela n’a pas altéré notre sejour. Après des belles balades nous retrouvions la villa en fin de journée avec grand plaisir. Très belle prestation. Aurelia

Charming House with a nice pool and garden
The house itself is well build and keeps cool inside even if we forget to close the front door while staying at the pool. Kitchen appliances all work, there is a washing machine in the garage and the pool is a pleasure the whole day. The surrounding is inviting for smaller hikes and adventures. Make sure to put on sturdy shoes for that :)

Quietly located holiday home
We have spent a wonderful second half of our holiday in the quietly located holiday home. The house is simply furnished, but fairly complete and the pool is fantastic. The only downside was that the house was not very clean on arrival. After reporting this, the owner met us properly. Contact with the owner was smooth and pleasant. All in all, highly recommended.

to avoid
villa in a quiet and pleasant place but the maintenance of this villa is a disaster, the pool room and blurry because the worker did not do his job, I had to contact the owner to intervene, to the inside the smell of humidity and spider webs on the ceiling and insects behind the armchair, the terrace next to the barbecue looks like a pigsty and the floor full of ends, very very dirty, a not pleasant stay should be avoided this villa, and it deserves a 400 euro for a week.
