Management was fantastic allowing me to check in very early at no cost because my room was available. They also let me do a late checkout. Overall one of my better hotel stays "

"At first glance, the Ocean Crest appears to be an ordinary budget motel. Once you get in the room, however, you see that everything is fresh, tastefully updated and absolutely spotless. The management is very friendly and helpful. This property is better than a lot of the three and four star chain hotels I've stayed in for years. Next time I'm in the Qualicum area, this is where I'll be booking. Strongly recommended!"

"Clean, well-appointed room by the beach. The staff were friendly and accommodating if we needed things. The pool and hot tub were clean and had a lovely sitting area. The room had comfy chairs, table, Nespresso coffee, bathrobes and slippers and lots of details. We also enjoyed the balcony with a view of the ocean. In all areas, we were pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend staying here. "
