"We have just returned from an idyllic week in this beautiful cottage - and couldn't fault a thing. Spotlessly clean, with everything you need supplied to feel perfectly at home. The bed is, by far, the most comfortable we have ever had the pleasure to sleep in. The lovely welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch from the lovely hosts. "Beautiful cottage, absolutely huge with a large garden too. Very comfortable for 8 friends, especially with the 4 bathrooms and a single toilet downstairs. We loved having the full dining table that we could all fit around both inside and outside. All of the cottage was spotless and beautifully decorated, with every amenity we could want really. Nothing more we could have wanted! Close to the beach if you fancy a day out, and a trip to Malton for some nice food. Itâ€™s not super close to any...

"A much-needed and wonderfully relaxing stay at Hideaway Cottage. The cottage is a true hideaway, tucked away up a little lane with a beautiful little garden which was full of flowers. It was very peaceful, virutally all we heard was the sound of birds and church bells. Ampleforth was very quiet and the coffee shop was a stone's throw away serving fabulous breakfasts and afternoon teas. "Excellent weekend away to celebrate my sons 18th birthday. The cottage is easy to find and parking on the drive is easy to spin around on and reverse up into your designated spot. The cottage is well laid out and tastefully finished to a very high standard. It has everything you could possibly need including an abundance of board games which we had a lot of fun playing on an evening. "Unbelievable hotel, an absolute must stay, staff especially Stuart are super friendly and could not do enough for my 5 year old daughter, she was looked after like a princess and absolutely loved it, will 100% visit again! Anyone going to flamingo land staying here is a must to make the day"
