The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour. Would highly recommend as a base for anyone wishing to explore Passchendale, Ypres and other WW1 places of interest. Thank you Sabine, we very much enjoyed our stay."

"Great communication from Julie from the very beginning of the booking process. The house is located on a canal with endless walking and running routes. Great local brasseries for dinner, Louvre Lens is 30 min away. Charlie our dog had an amazing time and is currently fast asleep and shattered. Can definitely recommend if you are looking for a location less than a hour from Calais"

"My wife, our three children and I recently returned from our stay in Blessy. The cottage was clean and well equipped. It had a private garden, a great pool area and an idyllic garden and paddocks. Our host were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Blessy is a pretty village with a cafe and a small vending machine type shop, which is handy for bread and milk etc but the nearest supermarket is a 10 min drive away, so having a car is useful.
