"Clean, comfortable, great staff"

"Absolutely breathtaking view!! The suite with the side yard, is worth the extra money. You have privacy, and there was iguanas we feed fruit. Not sure if you’re supposed to, but they loved it. We will definitely go back!! If I remember correctly, if you click on Google maps from your Expedia emails it won’t take you directly there but it takes you pretty close. Then we actually had to type in the name if the place in Google maps or Waze to get us there. The driveway is pretty steep, and tricky if someone is coming in or out at the same time, so just beCareful. I did think they had room service, and wanted to do that one morning but you actually have to call the restaurants that are on the list that is given in each room and they deliver. Not a huge biggie, we did Steve’s restaurant every morning, they have a great breakfast! We tried the massage place that’s in the book in the room as well, and they were awesome with great prices!! Everything and everyone was amazing!! I was very pleased!! "

"Henry was a terrific host. He gave us lots of advice on restaurants and attractions nearby and he responded quickly to any questions we had. The house was nicely situated on the ocean - we sat under the veranda watching the waves roll in, the lightning strike and the ships go by. There was everything we needed in the house. It was a bit out of the way - quite far from Monteverde for example. We rented a car and would have been lost without it.We missed the sunsets because of the weather so will have to come back again!"

"We were 5 couples in 5 rooms. Rooms were clean, and the building was nicely done. The building was cleverly isolated from the lively street and neighborhood. "

"Quiet, Nature, Relax but no pool. The overall experience was excellent if you are wanting to disconnect and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature. My wife and I enjoyed walking the trails (in the morning due to rainy conditions later in the day). The grounds were well kept, and the rooms were simple and clean. We toured each room category, and found them to all be spacious (even the queen room). The rooms with whirlpool tubs were nice if you like that sort of thing. The whirlpool in the suits can fit two people of average size. The Silencio, family, and presidential have two bathroom; one with whirlpool and the other with roomy shower. I think for two people, the JR would be perfect and the queen a bit smaller, but nice as well. Most all rooms face the forest with no view of the mountains or valley. The exceptions are the Silencio suits 34 & 35 which have a nice view of the chapel. Also, we understand that cabin 16 has a nice view of the valley and mountains although we did not visit this room personally. The presidential is a splurge and would be nice for someone who needs to conduct business. It is also the only room we saw with a screened patio looking out to the forest. The JR suit room has a slightly elevated patio which is unique to this room. If you need a covered patio to sit outside (private), book a suit. If you don't then a queen or twin will suffice. We found all of the restaurant food to be great with nice presentation (specialty coffee high price)."

"Have stayed here before several times and they have done and are continuing to do a lot of improvements. The entire staff from checking in , kitchen and wsit staff, grounds crew have all been very friendly and efficient. The grounds crew does a fantastic job of keeping the jungle and it's critters from literally taking over. There is a lot of wildlife to be seen just walking around and exploring the grounds. The food and beverages have all been very good. I'm staying in 1 of the 2 Tree House rooms and would higjly recommend choosing these rooms. Their balcony"s literally look over the Tarcolito stream and the jungle across the stream is alive with squaking Parrots and Macaws. Truly one of my favorite spots in Costa Rica."
