"I was very surprised at how amazing this place was. I spent 2 weeks traveling in Spain, and out of my 6 stays, this was the best experience overall. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a short meeting to discuss recommendations about the area (with maps), which was very helpful! I can tell the staff takes pride in their hotel and the area they live in. This was the perfect place for us to stay as it was exactly halfway between Santander and the house we're renovating in the area. "Lovely hotel just out of Santander in a reasonably sized village. Restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and bakeries all close by. Several sandy beaches within walking distance. Hotel was clean, tidy and quiet. Staff were lovely and helpful. Air con was powerful. We stopped here the night before we were due to catch the boat from Santader. Would happily stay here agin."
