" We went up to check out an atv place near by and decided to find a house to rent instead of a hotel and we are so glad we did! Had some early breakdowns so spent more time at the house then expected but it was perfectly fine. The house is on a nice, quiet corner lot. The inside is spacious and very welcoming! Even though we didnt get to ride much we still enjoyed our time. We plan to come again and will definitely stay here!"

"We had a great stay. Everything was as described and communication with the Owner was great too. We did receive some automated emails from a previous property manager that was no longer in effect so that was a bit confusing, but did not detract from our experience at all. We stayed in February and went to Punxsutawney for Groundhog Day which was a lot of fun. The cabin sits on a beautiful property - it would be fantastic in the warmer months. There were some good restaurant options in Coalport and Altoona. There is no tv and wifi was a little spotty for streaming, but again it did not detract from our visit as we were out and about exploring for the majority of our stay. Thanks for a great experience!"

"This property turned out much better than I expected from the pictures. Bar/Restaurant is closed since Covid times, so it is just a quiet simple place to rest. We had everything ready for our arrival, it was self check in. I suggest taking showers in the evening, because it is an old building and boiler is very slow to hit up, so in the morning you may run water for 15 min before it warms up. Giant Eagle and Dollar General and Sheetz are very close, across the hotel is an old church, police is one block away, so it is very safe and convenient place to be. And only 30 miles from Punxsutawney:)"
