"The cabin was cute and nicely updated. The inside was very clean, well furnished, and stocked with all of the essentials. The outside had some useful amenities and a relaxing atmosphere but it wasn't as well kept as the inside. There were tons of spider webs, which wasn't unexpected, but the entire exterior could have used a good powerwash.The location/neighborhood seemed somewhat ok but it isn't the most diverse place and some may not feel welcome in that area. The neighbor next door that is renovating his cabin was very friendly and even suggested a few things for us to do.Overall we enjoyed our stay and the host was quick to respond whenever I had to communicate with them."

"We only stayed 3 nights, however I wish we had planned a whole week. The owners made us feel so welcome and a part of the river community. The VRBO had awesome views from the balcony where we could watch the barges and other boats going up and down the river. It is a very rural area so if you want to relax and have peace and quiet, this is the place. We brought our dog and she truly enjoyed our walks and visiting with the owners' dog Forrest. The first day we got there, we had a visit from Olivia the owners' daughter who brought us a big plate of delicious hot chocolate chip cookies. There was a bottle of wine from a local vineyard on the table. We have stayed at quite a few VRBO's from the Maine coast to California, and I have to say this rates as one of the very best. To be able to experience a different world on the Mighty Mississippi was something we will never forget. "
