"We spent four very quiet and restful days at this location. Well appointed with a lovely sunroom, firepit, and walking access to a sandy swimming spot on beautiful Upper Beverley Lake. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and had all the amenities. The bedrooms were comfortable and the air conditioning made the hot Summer day comfortable. Very quiet, peaceful area! Had a wonderful time."

"Like the title says, the owners are very nice and doing their best but that can't cover up all the issues. The owners live on site by the way, along with the three cottages that are for rent...one right beside you at the pool level and one behind you that walks by the pool area to access the lake. There is not really any outdoor privacy. The view from the pool area and deck is breathtaking. The steps down to the pool from the cottage are definitely not to code, but there is a railing to hang...

"We enjoyed a successful weekend with a group of 11 individuals. Our accommodation was exceptional, and I am extremely satisfied with the level of service provided. The residence was impeccably clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had an abundance of amenities to ensure our stay was comfortable."

"This is an authentic old country house with original, solid wood furniture and comfy chairs. It has the quirky bits of old architecture (tiny toilets) but was clean and in good repair. The stars at night were spectacular without other light pollution."

"Sprawling and fascinating house full of lovely furniture and objects, so well equipped for vacationers with many lovingly constructed inside and outside spaces. The kitchen was lovely and very well equipped, and the dishwasher worked well though it was very tiny so we had to run it after every meal. The very long catwalk to the dock and gazebo is just remarkable, lit at night with tiny string lights there. Two kayaks and two paddleboards were fun in the water. With the air conditioning on...

"We loved the property! Beautiful view and lovely home. It was a little bit difficult getting the gate open and closed to get in to the property, but we were all retired and not in the best shape. "

"Our family has been doing thanksgiving and easter at cottages between Ottawa and Toronto for years now. This is the first cottage where we really felt it was the perfect fit, and we felt right at home. The space is clean and bright and cozy, and the attention to detail was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back, but it looks like a very popular destination as bookings are more or less full for the next few months!"

"We stayed at Gecieve Opinicon for a weekend in late April, the weather didn’t cooperate but the little cottage and property were perfectly set up for comfort, rain or shine. We had a fantastic time. "Loved this place. Homely style with modern touches. The room was lovely, bed was super comfy and bathroom was new/renovated. The staff were all superb, so nice and friendly they made our stay very special. We had dinner there 2 nights of the 3, both had live music which was fabulous and we particularly enjoyed Jeff Callery and his band. The patio was lovely, and the weather co-operated so was great to eat outside with the spectacular water views and the great music. Food was delicious and again, can't say enough about how wonderful the servers were. The Cove Inn is in the perfect location, right downtown near the water, stores, restaurants and bars. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. "
