In a fantastic location surrounded by meadows, forests and a breathtaking mountain panorama, you will find relaxation in an absolute dream house.
Our newly renovated and exclusive guest house "Magnushof" is located near the castle ruins Eisenberg, Hohenfreyberg and the beautiful pilgrimage church of Maria Hilf in Speiden. From there it is about 3 km to Hopfen am See and 7 km to Füssen. Hiking and biking trails are right on the doorstep.
The unique holiday apartment Chalet am Teich is equipped with 1 bedroom, 1 living room with kitchen and pull-out couch, a dream bathroom with large bathtub and shower, internet WiFi with top reception, flat screen TV in the living room. The space was lovely and clean, however it was not the one that was listed. There were many rooms in the building and there was no one on site at the time we checked in, so it made things a little confusing, but we did find our room after a little bit. There was information about how to reach the landlord in the room, however, it was not obvious. I reached out through email and received no response. We met them the morning of our check out and they were very friendly and helpful. I assume some of these issues were due to the language barrier.

Das Allgäu ist unbedingt eine Reise wert, den Urlaub würden wir allerdings das nächste Mal in einer anderen Wohnung verbringen. Wir hatten eigentlich einen bestimmten Parkplatz für die Wohnung, auf dem allerdings die gesamte Zeit über ein anderes Auto parkte, so dass unser Auto bei dem heißen Wetter immer in der Sonne stand. Die Bettdecken waren zu dick für das Wetter, die Wohnung heizte sich recht stark auf, war nicht klimatisiert. Dafür, dass die Wohnung zur Selbstverpflegung ausgelegt war, war sie sehr spartanisch ausgestattet, der Tisch sehr schmal und klein. Im Garten hätte man auf harten unbequemen Holzbänken sitzen können, das Bett war durchgelegen. Die Bezahlung der Kurtaxe war sehr unprofessionell: wir bekamen einen handgeschriebenen Zettel, auf dem die erforderliche Summe stand, die wir abgezählt in einen Schlüsselkasten tun sollten. Eine Kurkarte oder etwas Ähnliches haben wir nicht erhalten, auch keine Quittung. Vom Vermieter haben wir nichts gesehen, nur der Vater von ihm war uns am Ankunftstag behilflich bei der Schlüsselübergabe. Sehr unpersönlich. Alles in allem war die Wohnung den hohen Preis so nicht wert.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung, modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Super sauber war auch alles. Lage war für uns auch optimal. Personal war auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Absolut nichts zum beschweren. Wir kommen gerne bei unserem nächsten Bayern Aufenthalt wieder.

Wir waren alle sehr begeistert von der Unterkunft. Sauberkeit, sehr stylisches Appartement. Sehr schöne Gegend und haben noch zusätzlich Frühstück gebucht, welches mehr als perfekt war. 200% Weiterempfehlung. Alles in einem eine super Erfahrung. Wenn ich könnte, würde ich noch mehr Sterne geben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder wenn wir in diese Gegend reisen.

Schöne Wohnung und tolle Lage. Gute Essensmöglichkeit und freundliches Personal. Da es ein hundefreundliches Haus war, gab es noch das eine oder andere Hundehaar auf Teppich und Sofa. Der Tisch ist für regelmässige Mahlzeiten etwas klein, aber man kann ihn auch zu viert nutzen. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben dieses Apartment gebucht, weil es unter der Kategorie "mit Haustieren" angeboten wurde, der Aufenthalt für das Haustier sollte 8 EUR pro Tag kosten. Wir sind mit unserer Katze angereist und wurden bereits bei der Anreise kritisch (aber kommentarlos) beäugt. Zwischendurch wurde von uns eine (nicht angekündigte) Kaution für mögliche Schäden durch die Katze eingefordert und die Kosten für den Aufenthalt der Katze pro Tag sollte höher sein als im Angebot (wurde am Ende auch so abgerechnet, weil der Wirt sagte, dass er von der Info über Fewo-direkt nichts wisse). Am Abreisetag wurden wir gefragt, ob wir auch ordentlich gesaugt hätten wegen der Katzenhaare und dass Katzen an sich überhaupt nicht erwünscht sind - freundlich geht aus unserer Sicht anders. Schade, denn die Wohnung ist an sich sehr hübsch, allerdings ist der Preis aus unserer Sicht zu hoch.

Die Ferienwohnung ist klasse eingerichtet. Tolle Location, aber nicht dafür gedacht hier morgens, mittags und abends zu essen und zu kochen, da kein Esstisch, sondern nur eine kleine Theke für zwei Personen. Auf Grund des Restaurants mit Küche unter der Ferienwohnung ist ab 17.00 Uhr keine Fensteröffnung mehr möglich, auch nachts stinkt es nach Fett bei geöffnetem Fenster. Auch aus dem Treppenhaus zieht der Küchengestank durch die Wohnungstür in die Ferienwohnung. Hier helfen minimal nur Handtücher ab die Ritzen. Laut Vermieter ist eine Abluftanlage bestellt, die zu unserem einwöchigen Aufenthalt jedoch nicht vorhanden war. Das Essen des Restaurants ist total lecker und empfehlenswert.
