"We have returned to Ullswater Cabin for a second consecutive year now, and the Cabin once again did not disappoint. Very clean, and simply beautiful, with the most peaceful location. There was very good organisation and contact from the hosts John and Allison, and we certainly hope to return again next year. "

"We were a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 teenagers) staying at this beautiful log cabin for 3 nights. The location was fantastic…only a few minutes drive from Ambleside. The log cabin was spotlessly clean, and everything we could possibly need. The outdoor space is a bonus with some amazing views. We loved every minute of our stay! Thank you 💕"

"The property is right on a very busy main road, the main bedroom is at the front so traffic noise is an issue. The curtains aren’t blackout curtains so street lights are an issue and one being faulty and strobing intermittently didn’t help. The exterior of the front could definitely do with some tlc as well. Hotel upgraded us to a de luxe room with lake view, and gave us 7 days of full English breakfasts, all at no extra charge. Excellent staff! Friendly and approachable.
