The room was clean and comfortable. Ideal for a short business trip away. A bit of a last minute reservation so was only able to get a single room. A little small for a tall guy like me but ok for one night. Staff were great though. Very friendly and breakfast was nice.d recommend

Basic hotel but good enough for a place to shower and sleep for the night in a good location. Could hear loud noises from the floor above during the night so bring earplugs just in case Good breakfast

Great location and service; room is basic
Excellent location (walking distance to city centre) and super friendly, helpful staff. The room was clean but basic and a bit shabby (marks on carpet, bed base and in shower) - really needs updating and freshening up. The bed was a bit monk-like with 1 pillow and folded duvet - not very enticing! Was disappointed to find only one English language channel when so many channels were on offer. The breakfast was great. I know Dusseldorf accommodation is expensive, but a few thoughtful touches to the room would add comfort and make it more attractive.

A Great Little Find.
Stayed on the businest week of the year with a huge trade show in Cologne. This place is 10 mins walk to the station, has exceptional staff (that went out of their way at every chance) and a very nice, clean room and bathroom. Breafast was a good continental and good coffee. Thansk ofr the enjoyable stay.

Location was excellent, near the city centre. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. Decoration and furnishing are a bit outdated, but clean. Breakfast is excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Although checkout is at 11 AM, our luggage and car could remain there, it was 6 PM before we returned to pick it up. We were even given a spare key to a side door, because no one would be there. Speaking about trust! Two minor downsides: showering in the bathtub is not my favourite and the streetnoise from 7AM made me close the window. But one can't blame the hotel for that. We have found our place to stay for the next visit to Düsseldorf!

WiFi too weak to use in my room. Had to go down to the hotel lobby to use it most of the time. The maid left my door open all day after she finished cleaning and I was just lucky nobody took my stuff.I did like the breakfast selection and extra small savouries. It was even artistically arranged.

Excellent Value for Business or Family
The Astoria is well run, the breakfast was a very wide selection of cold meats, cheeses, eggs, cereals, fruits etc., the hotel is clean, quiet and the rooms enormous. Twenty minutes walk to the old town and the station, very courteous staff. I would certainly stay there again - room rates were very reasonable.

Sehr nettes Personal. Das Badezimmer war relativ neu und sehr sauber. Das Zimmer war sauber, allerdings war die Einrichtung sehr veraltet. Da könnte man mal investieren. Gute, ruhige Lage. Preis und Leistung absolut ok. Wir würden wieder hier buchen.
