This bright, comfortable space has a penthouse-like feel with three large windows overlooking Chair 1 whisk away skiers and boarders. An easy three minute walk to and from the base, drop your skis by the ski locker and climb one set of stairs to this third floor unit that has a unique view of Purgatory Resort's classic ski and bike runs. This warm unit provides all the comforts to rest up in the mountains. Boot and glove dryer, access to hot tub, all the cozy linen for up to four guests is provided. The details have been well cared for by the owner including new Lazboy furniture, Sealy mattress, and nice kitchen amenities to recover after a long day on the slopes. Of course, practice of cleanliness procedures are current with CDC guidelines for infection control and app-enabled laundry is on site. The owner is responsive to your unique requests but this is a no smoking unit and pets are only allowed for stays lasting thirty days+. Come experience the San Juans or work from home in a unique mountain setting! Thank you!

Holiday at Purgatory

The booking process, communication, and location for this property was excellent. The only thing I'll mention that could have made the stay better was the bed. It was not comfortable at all and I was longing for a better mattress after sleeping on it one night. If you can sleep anywhere, I highly recommend it! I'll probably need slightly better accommodations for our next visit to Purgatory.

Family ski trip

Room was clean and location was great. Room was well supplied. Biggest complaint is the parking lot. Plenty of room for parking but the walk to the lifts is a slippery one. That is the nature of winter in the mountains. I suggest grabbing gear from locker and cutting across to the road by the dumpster and walking through there and not the parking lot.

A great spot to enjoy the slopes and village!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The kitchen was well stocked to cook meals and the room was very comfortable. We were close enough to the lifts, but just the right distance from the resort to enjoy it without all of the noise! We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great quick stay! Less than a 5 minute walk to the chair lifts. Highly recommend this book place if you’re a family of 4 or less.

Perfect Ski Condo

This small condo is set up perfectly for a ski trip. Plenty of hooks and hangers for gear, boot/ glove dryer, and we’ll equipped kitchen to prepare meals. It’s also just a short, easy walk to the slopes..

Wonderfully Comfortable

We (my daughter and I) had a wonderful stay in this cozy, comfy studio. It was the perfect size for us. Loved the homey feel and the completeness of the kitchen. Had everything we needed and then some! Property Manager was attentive and responded quickly when I reached out to her. Will definitely keep this location in mind when visiting Purgatory again.

Great place!

This is a great condo at Purgatory. I stayed there initially with a friend, then with my partner. The kitchen is awesome and well-stocked with good supplies, and the cross breeze from the windows keeps the place cool. The owner was a great communicator and provided check in and check out information and local tips. The mini pull out couches are good for someone like 5'2" and under.

Durango summer 2022

It got stuffy at night without an A.C. unit. The washer and dryer is 4 flights of stairs and was $2.25 for each. We had a hard time rounding up that many quarters.

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

My family of four stayed at this property over the new year’s holiday. For skiing, the location was very convenient. Just a short walk in ski boots to the main lift. A little further to the Twilight lift. This unit also has a ski locker which was convenient so that skis and equipment didn’t take up the smaller space. Ideally, I think the unit is best suited for two people, but there is a nice pull out bed, in addition to the queen size bed that was fine for my two kids. The unit is nicely stocked with everything you would, need including the most important for me -a coffee maker and filters. Kaki was very responsive to my questions. The unit doesn’t have designated parking and so if it’s a bit crowded, finding a spot is a bit challenging. Overall cozy, clean and comfortable making our ski vacation easy and convenient.
