Staff were fantastic - friendly and accommodating. The location is walkable to downtown attractions and the mall. The train station is also nearby but I personally wouldn’t walk it with luggage. The room was missing a mini fridge, which we were told is not part of the brand of this hotel. I found the room to be a bit cramped or tight but it was nice and clean.

Very limited evening meal menu. Breakfast poor ,scrambled eggs hard and tasteless, No other egg choices. Sausages were hard and un-eatable . Given how much they charge including £10 to park my car and almost £200 for a room ,this is one place i will never go back to, god know what foreign tourists must think.

On first look area looks a little run down but only a short walk to city centre. Check in was very welcoming and friendly. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and helpful, a real asset to the company. The room we were allocated was very large, however, unfortunately it looked out on nightclubs and the music was loud from early evening. When I raised this at reception even though the hotel was extremely busy they managed to do some juggling and reallocated us another room. A little smaller but much quieter so we were happy. Breakfast was decent quality with a vast choice available. Drinks were reasonably priced. The only downside was that although there were 3 of us in the room only 2 bath towels were provided and although housekeeping made up our beds they didnt top up toilet roll, other toiletries or remove empty glasses. All in all a really good hotel, especially for 3 star.

The staff were wonderful and accommodating. We are a family of 4, and the room I booked was called a a Superior room which had two queen beds. I believe the actual beds in our room were double beds, but we weren’t concerned about that. We were exhausted after a day of travel. We were in the room less than a half hour and one of the beds broke! Bottom gave right out. A staff member came up and confirmed it was not safe to sleep on and two of the kids were sent to a separate room on a different floor. That was disappointing. But everyone was helpful and did what they could to keep us comfortable.

The aircondi tioner did not work, and the room was very heat and piorly ventilated. We called the front desk multiple times in the night to look into it but did not pick up the phone for hours until we call through our celphone. Also, after getting through and they promised to look i to the problem, they did not call back. We called a few more times, and they kept reassuring they are looking into it all to no avail, and they still dis not call us back. We ended up sleeping in underwear and manually fanning ourselves.

Hotel reception/bar area nice and clean but no air conditioning so very warm and stuffy. Room small but clean and suited out needs perfectly. Bathroom and shower facilities excellent and bed comfy. Breakfast very disappointing. Seating area felt tired and a bit shabby. Selection of food average at best and felt layout of food area not easy to navigate. Struggled to find the location of things like cutlery, butter etc. Only one choice of eggs which was scrambled. These were bland and inedible and actually tasted like powdered eggs rather than fresh ones. Bacon and sausage nice though. Coffee nice and hot. Staff were friendly and attentive. We wouldn’t stay again due to some of the reasons above and the location of the hotel. We have stayed in a few other hotels in Dundee city centre and found those to be a better location than this once.
