"Hotel is excellent; has off road parking and two large sitting areas, one interior and one exterior. Owners were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us; very friendly. "Du début à la fin (très matinale!), tout a été parfait. Le couple de propriétaires est adorable et on se sent tout de suite « à la maison ». Parking facile, piscine extérieure, bel espace pour se détendre aussi bien en terrasse que dans la salle principale (tv écran géant, baby foot). "Very nice hotel in the near of the center. Great room , very clean, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom ( new ). very warmwelcome by the personnel. Very helpfull. If you stay please stay also for the dinner wich is excellent and not expensive. I would certainly stay there again."

When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. The issue was not resolved and I told them I could not stay at this hotel if they could not find me a clean room. "Stayed for one night on journey heading South. Clean and comfortable hotel room. Evening meal was very good but with a limited menu, especially for vegetarian friends we were with. Good position with plenty of parking and small garden. Our dog enjoyed the stay as well ! Have also booked for our return journey."

"The host was very nice and spoke good English. Our room was cramped and somewhat dated. The toilet was separate from shower area and both doors had to be closed to navigate around the bed. Breakfast was great. There was a close-by restaurant where we had a dinner. It was really very nice for the price!"

"What a special spot! We loved everything about our stay and only wish that we could have stayed longer! Our host was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. She shared great insight and history about the property and about the surrounding area. We got great suggestions about highlights for our visit. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a unique decor. Breakfast was perfect with options for sitting inside or outside. We would love to go back and would recommend a stay to anyone visiting the Loire Valley areas. "

Superb, large property: swimming pool, tennis court 30 mins from the Châteaux de la Loire

"Well appointed property perfectly suited to our large family group. Charming host, tennis court, swimming pool, boules, pool table, etc provided activities for everyone. Property within easy reach of pretty Chateaudun with its chateau, supermarkets and canoe hire.More information about disposal of rubbish and a few extra towels would have been helpful. Expected camp cot was not there but host made provision at short notice. A very, very happy stay which everyone enjoyed."
