Every year in April parts of the Netherlands turn into colorful tulip fields.

Different kinds of tulips bloom in different parts of the month. Starting from March until May. If you want to be sure of a nice colorful view go in mid-April.

There are different routes to drive to follow the tulip fields. Some of the fields you can go to take pictures, others you cant. There are even some special plucking fields :)

"Gezellig ingericht huis op een rustig park. Nette slaapkamer en mooie badkamer.Helaas het erf en de schuur rommelig.De leuke keuken was helaas niet schoon, inventaris miniem en de lades niet opgeruimd. Bijvoorbeeld waren het fornuis en de oven vies, koffie in de kan en filter zaten nog in het koffiezetapparaat. De eigenaren hebben, na contact hierover, toegezegd deze problemen aan te pakken."

"Cabin is located in a beautiful place overlooking the Markermeer lake. We were able to hire bikes and visit the surrounding areas with ease. Our host Debbie was very helpful and friendly. Overall a fantastic stay."

"The Plaza is in a great location, 150m from the Almere train station. Very easy to commute in and around Amsterdam from here. Almere has a great commercial area with shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean and tidy with a restaurant on site. We would recommend for anyone wanting to be just out of the business of Amsterdam. "
