"This was a great getaway for our family. It had something for everyone: double bunk beds and lots of games for the kids, a kitchen with all the amenities for the adults and 360 degrees of beautiful nature all around. Our only complaint is that the property manager didn't get back to us about a question until the day before we left. At that point he happened to mention that we shouldn't use the fireplace. That would have been good to know going into the trip. Otherwise, a great time was had."

"My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city."

The amenities that were offered were great would definitely plan to stay longer since alot of the amenities are a distance from the house. The houses was equipped with everything we needed. "We stayed here to celebrate birthdays and Mother’s day. The house was clean, gorgeous and nicely decorated with natural wood features. Took pics for myself to go shopping 😃. The hosts Nathan and Kara we awesome, they made sure we had a smooth check in and was available right away if we had questions. The kids enjoyed the lower level space - it was equipped with a huge Tv, games and foosball table. The parents got to have their private space and enjoy a nice dinner in the dining area. Overall...

"We had a great stay! The property was nice, nothing fancy but everything we needed plus some. This was one of the better equipped kitchens in a rental property we have used. There is the feeling this house was a DIY spruce up, but with the intention of making everyone feel comfortable and welcome and it worked! "Perfect getaway weekend in January! We enjoyed the house and all the amenities it has to offer. A very clean and charming home located in a gated community. Perfect for 2-3 couples (as long as one of them doesn't mind the twin bed with the trundle). It is about 30 minutes from Montage Ski Resort and Camelback.
