"We started our Coron trip in Coron Town. I thought it was too crowded and there’s no nice scenery. I’m happy we found the beach house at the end of the forest of Ocam Ocam. It was like entering Jurassic Park and arriving in Paradise. The way there is an experience altogether. Once we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by the smiling staff with cold towels, coconuts and cookies. Such a thoughtful welcome. We immediately felt at home. We loved the design of the place and the quietness. You will hear the waves crashing the shore, crickets, frogs and geckos singing beautifully. We love nature, so we loved everything at the beach house. They served delicious food. The pool is big enough for their available rooms. They’re equipped with everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. Our island hopping trip to South Cay and Dibutunay was superb. The island lunch was yummy. We ended the day with massages by the sea during sunset. It’s overall a lovely stay. Thank you to the helpful and friendly staff. "

"It was a unique and wonderful experience. Not the normal avg resort. The staff are exceptionally kind, helpful and genuinely want your experience to be fantastic. I loved falling asleep to the ocean, the variety of food offered and just the relaxed vibe. The resort is the only place on the island. My cabin did not have AC but I was very comfortable with the breezes and fans. Any modern convienance missing was made up with happy hour, beautiful views, and friendly staff. I also recommend the tours if offered. Great experiences snorkling and visiting the natural hot spring. "

"We wanted to “get away” and that’s what we got at La Estancia. We get to spend quality time with family. The resort catered to our needs. PROS: >They offer airport to resort to airport transfers for a fee if less than 8 persons but if you are a group of 8, the van is free. We were a group of 16, so we only paid for the second van. >The resort offers private island lifestyle and offer breakfast/lunch/dinner for an extra charge (very reasonable pricing, mostly Filipino food menu) > Private beach > Free use of kayaks > Seaview rooms with private balconies > Wonderful staff (special mention to Nanay Auie, Ate Aiza, Ma’am Meryl and our drivers) > Clean rooms > La Estancia can book your island hopping and Coron activities and coordinate with trusted tour agencies (they made sure we enjoyed and were safe with our Coron tour) > They can make you lunch picnic for your island hopping for a separate fee (again very reasonable pricing and delicious fresh food/drinks). Our family went to Black Island and Debotunay Island CONS: > Far from town proper ( 1.5 from airport/ 2 hrs to Coron), so if you want night life, this is not your kind of resort > Internet was slow (but then again, if you want to get away…)this was just fine for us. My son was still able to log on and take his summer online classes/tests. > As of July 2025, they don’t take major credit cards ( they take cash, money transfers thru paypal/gcash) My advise is to please ask resort for updates before your stay. "

"careful of the sugar/black ants, unavoidable but definitely no open food in the room and will be fine, they don't bite at least. other than that it was great. nice and quiet and a good escape from the city for a while. island hopping was reasonably priced and shorter boat ride away compared to other resorts. diving courses and tours offered for both novice and experienced divers which are excellent."
