"Nicely renovated to a high standard. All the mod cons Well equipped kitchen and it was great having a washer/dryer. Great location to base yourself in the Lake District. Tasha the host replied very quickly with my questions. There is a TV in every room. They even have Alexa.I wouldn't recommend this place if you have mobility issues. The two staircases are steep and one of the landings is precarious. If you really want a wardrobe to hang up things there isn't one. There is a clothing rack in...

Farther afield, KL is an ideal spot from which to explore the Dales of Cumria, Lancashire and Yorkshire. We would definitely visit The Old Weigh House again."

"Such a wonderful stay. We had a lovely welcome from Jo on arrival. The yurt was just perfect. Beautiful setting and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The food in the evening we ordered was delicious as was the breakfast delivered directly to our yurt. It felt very spoiling. We also enjoyed the two friendly chickens who came to visit. "

"A lovely designed cottage in a beautiful location. We enjoyed our long weekend stay for our son’s Birthday. We went on a couple of walks whilst we were there and the family relaxed at the cottage with added bonus of a hot tub to relax after the walks. We must also give a big mention to michael whose communication was first class, helping us with anything we needed and even suggesting to do and local taxi services. Prior to the stat and during he was always there to assist with anything we asked."
