"We rented the nice house with another couple. Our landlord came immediately when we called, even though we had forgotten to call in advance. She explained everything in detail and left nothing out. She also had tips where to rent bikes, dine or what not to miss. The house was clean and big enough for two couples. There is a huge flatscreen and a subwoofered soundbar in the living room. "Nice location on the beach. Room was nice, perhaps getting somewhat aged but that was reflected by the price. A bit longer walk in to Makkum itself, but doable and safe. We picked it for the water view and easy access to laundry facilities, right nearby, for the midpoint of our trip."
