"A unique spot and a unique room. Just be aware it is a typical old European(steep and narrow) climb to the rooms. Check in is in the bar/restaurant. They were very accommodating for my wife’s gluten allergy for breakfast and for supper. A little out of the way,but we used a park and ride to get into Amsterdam. "

"Piet and Marianne were very thoughtful hosts. They were proactive, responsive and in touch through the netite experience. The compound is very beautiful and peaceful. With the canals and open fields, it was a serene place. The compoind includes campgrounds and the campers were very quiet and respectful. Hughly recommned! "

"After spending a week staying in cities, we were SO happy to take a breath and long walk in the countryside at this gorgeous farm. They have fully renovated, modern and impeccably clean suites inside its historic buildings. With its multiple beautiful outdoor spaces, this B&B works just as well for a family as it does for a family reunion! We just loved it. "

"Enjoyed our family stay on “Hortensia Eiland”. Cottage was nicely appointed with everything needed to do small meals. Took full advantage of the farm fresh eggs, yogurt, jam and milk. We felt like we experienced the Holland countryside experience to its fullest!"

"Great stay and wonderful experience near Bodegraven. Hosts we’re kind and welcoming and quickly attended to our questions. Setting is ideal with great hiking and biking close by. Bodegraven has a train station making further travels quite easy. Apartment was 30 mins drive to Kuekenhof Gardens. Very quiet at night making sleeping a pleasure. Parking on site. Highly recommend, particularly for couples. Exceeded expectations"

"I stayed with 2 of my friends in this cute little boat. We had an amazing time where it was walking distance from the centre. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to stay on an affordable boat in the canals of Amsterdam!!"

"I don't recommend it to anyone. I asked for a late check in in good time and was told that I would receive an email with a code, I was waiting all day for the code but I didn't receive anything. "I picked this property as it said it had laundry service. I was thinking machines that i could wash my clothes but you can avail of a laundry service but you need 13kg of clothes etc for them to do it for you as it is an outside agency. That being said the hotel was wonderful, staff were excellent. The breakfast had a lot to choose from along with the time you wanted to come eat breakfast (you picked a card with time on it so everyone wasn't showing up together). You would walk outside go right and walk over to the Biljmer Arena train. The number 54 takes you into central station in Amsterdam. So great. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. We were really pleased with our stay. No ice machine had to go to lobby bar and they would give us ice."
