Nice family-run hotel
This is a nice, small family-run hotel, located in a beautiful environment. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple, but very good. A few negative aspects: 1. My room was downstairs with a view of a beautiful garden. However, there were no curtains, just drapes. A person in the garden could look straight into the room. To have some privacy I had to keep the drapes closed. 2. There is no shower curtain. As a result, the bathroom floor is completely wet after taking a shower. 3. It can be a bit noisy due to the nearby motorway (E34). Overall: A wonderful small hotel, located in a beautiful, green environment, with easy access to Bruges, Damme and Knokke. Recommended.

Basic but clean
Stayed here whilst walking on the GR5A. Room was fine, clean and basic. I chose it for its location. Bath with shower but no shower curtain. No kettle. Continental breakfast was good

Pleasant helpful staff. Peaceful beautiful grounds front and back, even a garden with fish pond to sit by. Charming bar and patio by the canal which was full of activity. Great restaurant right next store. Minutes from village of Damme with lots of cafes. Driving on the country roads nearby a treat after zoom roads. We stayed an extra night!

It was OK, need to up date TV . Breakfast was continental not hot meal, price was OK, but have had better for 50 euros Wouldn't re-book. I would imagine it is a lot nicer looking in the summer.

Nice surrounds. But close to a noisey motorway.
Great hotel. Bar and restraunt was closed on a Thursday. But great bar pub down road with fantastic food.

Dans un beau cadre mais sans service
Malheureusement à notre arrivée nous avons dû monter 2 étages sans ascenseur. Arrivés dans la chambre, celle-ci était mensardée et pas aérée. Qu'un petit filet d'eau sortait de la douche et que 2 chaînes de télévision disponibles. Le support sur place n'a pas été d'une grande aide sauf que nous avons dû changer de chambre pour nous retrouver dans une plus petite. Le petit déjeuner était copieux mais je pensais que lors du paiement, nous aurions obtenus un rabais aux vues des ennuis à notre arrivée. Rien du tout. Je ne peux donc pas recommander cet hôtel.

De badkamer mag opgeknapt worden met een douche of een bad met douche scherm of gordijn Met een douchekop op hoogte om je lekker te kunnen douchen en wat afzuiging op de badkamer. Bedden zijn goed.

The hotel was in the middle of nowhere. Hard, and expensive to get around without a vehicle. The bathroom window didn't have curtains, neither did the shower. So it was wet everywhere when you were finished. It also wasn't clean, mold in the bathroom and hairs from other people. It was really cold at night as the heating was turned off.. The owners were pretty weird. It's more like a hostel than a hotel.. Only good thing was the breakfast!

Zeer goed vertrekpunt voor fietsuitstap
Vanaf hieruit heb je veel mogelijkheden voor fietstochten te doen, ook zoals bij de auto naar Suis of Knokke of... te geraken.

Aangenaam en gezellig hotel, zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame uitbaters. Heel lekker ontbijt en een bijhorende taverne met lekkere streekbieren.

Goed verblijf
Keurig hotel, met keurige kamers en prima ontbijt. Televisie onder de maat. Goed startpunt voor fietsers. Bent u met de auto dan zijn De Kust, Brugge en Gent op korte afstand. Slechts één restaurant in de directe omgeving.
