This top renovated and listed thatched cottage with the name ?Deichkate Fahretoft? is located in Dagebüll, the gateway to the North Frisian Islands. The location on the Westerschinkel dike offers an unobstructed view of the wonderful landscape of North Friesland. On the large property with its two terraces you can relax in the original Sylt beach chair. In the evening you can barbecue comfortably on the upper terrace with the Weber gas grill, please bring the gas bottle for this yourself.

Inside, during the renovation, special attention was paid to preserving the original charm of the Friesenkate. The "Klönschnacktür" to the kitchen, the old roof beams and the elaborately restored room doors and furniture breathe history. A very special highlight of this house is the alcove in the living room. In the past, people found a little more warmth in this cupboard bed than in a free-standing bed. Today, a child traveling with you can feel quite safe there. The lying surface is 150x150 cm. The alcove has no exterior window, but a cozy interior window to the living room.

The wood-burning stove in the living room makes sure that you are comfortable even when it is "Schietwedder". Despite the historical character of the house, all modern conveniences have been added. The modern and high-quality equipped kitchen with induction stove and the spacious bathroom with walk-in shower leave nothing to be desired. TV and internet are of course also available.

The keys are handed over at the NOVASOL service office in Dagebüll.

Dagebüll is the perfect place for trips to the surrounding area: the ferries to the North Sea islands of Amrum and Föhr are just a few minutes' walk away. From the nearby harbor in Schlüttsiel (about 8km) you can also reach the small Halligen Hooge and Langeneß quickly and relaxed by boat. Dagebüll is also ideally situated for a day trip to Sylt.
The many dikes around offer a perfect area for cyclists.
