"Pleasant stay. Lots of free parking. Above a nice pub. Outside the room window was an air conditioning unit or generator which meant it was too noisy to leave the window open which was a shame as it was a warm day. Apart from that I’d recommend and stay again."

"A lovely place to stay with ample parking. Close to the hotel was some nice walks that you can go on. The room I stayed in looked newly furnished and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food; particularly the free breakfast had a wide range to choose from and was good quality. I would recommend this hotel."

"The inn brought me home to Wales and was a shelter from a storm within a warm community. Dai will go above and beyond to care for his own and strangers. "We chose the hotel, as an overnight stop when we were visiting the area for the Canoeing across the Llangollen aqua duct. The room was clean quiet and comfortable. Continental breakfast available from 7:30 giving us plenty of time to join our Canoeing adventure. There’s a pleasant bar area and the restaurant had a good menu, the Sunday roasts were very good. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially giving us advice on alternative routes to Llangollen avoiding the steep narrow roads that sat navs direct you. Good news for dog owners is that it is dog friendly."
