"I booked the room in the hotel about 4 weeks before the trip and was surprised by a call from the Hotel 48hrs before arrival to offer a free Superior upgrade in their Townhouse building across the adjacent street. Being suspicious I thought there must be a catch but accepted the offer, On arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find a really spacious room with huge shower and bath facilities, soft towels and dressing robes. Enormous television lounge area,Tea/Coffee making etc - overall a good experience and highly recommended. "

Breakfast and meals were all delicious and always served hot. All areas of the hotel were very clean. Lovely patio overlooking the vineyard enjoying a glass of wine. "

"Beautiful place, decor is lovely, large bedrooms, everything is so clean and well kept. Food in the bar and breakfast was lovely, veggie options are good. Staff are very friendly, especially stephen at the bar and Cameron on reception. This is our third time visiting Lanelay hall and will definitely be back. We especially like the Tribe spa area, outdoorpool was lovely and the inside pool is decorated lovely, relaxing music, scent and atmosphere. "
