"We visited Santa Teresa from Seattle. I was looking for a private home. We had an incredible visit. This home was amazing: modern, new, clean, pristine location, private pool, beautiful. Wake up to the sounds of exotic birds and howler monkeys. I highly recommend renting at Yoko. You and your family will love your stay."

"This gorgeous condo is situated in a new development surrounded by native flora and fauna -- quite the juxtaposition of modern architecture and conveniences in a jungle with howler monkeys eating berries from the trees just off the balcony and ant colonies on the move on the ground below. "Everything in Costa Rica takes some driving time. Don’t let the 1:20min drive from the airport discourage you. Buffet food is okay. Restaurants are good. Try the tuna tartare. Area around the resort is busy and industrial. Don’t waste your time driving around for souvenirs. There are no shops. The gift shop has average to low prices. Ask for coupons at check in. 10% off helps when you buy everything at once. Airport has nice souvenirs if you don’t want to hassle during your trip, but it will probably be 20% higher. Buy your souvenirs during your excursions. Don’t forget your Yetis’s or Stanley’s, Bars fill them with drinks. Rooms are okay, but cleaned daily. Rent a car and explore. We traveled to Monteverde, Waterfalls, Jaco…at our own pace. Want to see monkeys, go to playa Manta. The entertainment at the resort is hilarious. They’re interactive and remember your name. I would go back. It’s mostly a locals place, but if you want to swim, drink, eat, and laugh you’ll have a good time. They do offer things to do and eat till 130-2am. I would go back, and see the Volcano. During our stay the roads were not passable. 8 out of 10 for me. The value $ was amazing."

"Family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 kids, we stayed for a week. The view from our room was absolutely stunning with beautiful sunsets over the ocean every night. Very quiet property, only sounds were birds, jungle and ocean waves. We really enjoyed having our own private pool and used it every day. The room was very comfortable, and it was nice to have our own kitchenette. We ended up cooking several of our own meals due to not having many choices of restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again! "
