"We had a great time at the sawmill cottage! Jen was a wonderful host and even gave us a tour of her farm, highly recommend! The cottage was clean and bed was comfortable. Absolutely no cell service or television, and that gave us some time to spend unplugged and play board games and watch dvds together!! Campfire area is awesome as well. Loved it, thanks Jen for the experience and helping us with maps of the area!"

"We stayed here when in Warrenton to care for a loved one. It was the perfect location between the hospital and town in a lovely quiet neighborhood. House was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Chase was wonderful to work with and Mike (the owner) was very welcoming. Not only were we given bread, eggs, sausage at the beginning of our stay, we found some beautiful daffodils on our doorstep during our stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you!"

"Had a fun weekend stay with a trip to Shenandoah National Park for a hike and blackberry ice cream pie, visited a ciders in Sperryville, and enjoyed the Possom Store and Art Print shopping near the listing. Would love to come back when the weather is warmer and float or swim in the river. Farm fresh eggs left by super responsive host were great!"

"I cannot say enough about one of the best Vrbo stays we've had. The property is just as pictured. Quaint, cozy and fully stocked with just about anything you could possibly need for your stay. And the history of the cottage is interesting. Although we were plagued by rain during our stay, we did have enough of a clearing on our 2nd day to enjoy the views from the back deck while enjoying our morning coffee from the dual brew/Keurig coffeemaker. "We chose this property for its proximity to Early Mountain Vineyards, which was our primary destination, but we loved coming back to the cottage and making a wood fire with the complimentary wood the owner left us! We ended up not cooking anything ourselves, but all the necessary supplies were there if we had wanted to. A nice secluded spot right next to a river!"

"My dog loved the smells and just wanted to stand on the front patio and sniff as horses grazed nearby or looked back at her. The interior of the cottage was delightful, very clean with very comfy bed and full kitchen. I enjoyed walking around the property in dawn's early light and met several workers who were very friendly and ready to address a tree that had fallen across one of the trails. There are at least two wedding venues on the property which may give an idea of how scenic and beautiful...

"My friends and I stayed here for a short gateway. The house was very nice but the cons are: 1. Mattress were uncomfortable because they were old and spring mattress. 2. Linens looked old,musty, and dirty. Some linens still had stains. 3. Pillows were old and thin. 4. Bathrooms were stained in blue and old. 5.
