Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac just 100 metres to direct beach access to spectacular Culburra Beach, awaits a delightfully expansive beach house.
The Culburra skate park is at the bottom of the street, perfect for all ages!

You will enjoy the large open plan living area that cascades onto a private courtyard via floor to ceiling doors at the front of the home to catch the winter sun and to the rear to a large undercover deck including undercover BBQ area.

The deck is surrounded by lush gardens and has enviable views of an expansive grassed area that holds an alfresco dining area. The deck can be enjoyed no matter what the weather!

Both areas ensuring complete privacy with the rear garden being fully fenced and gated. Everyone can relax, even whilst enjoying a hot shower under the stars outside on the back deck.

THE FLOOR PLAN:
While still maintaining its "beach house" charm Lucy's Escape has a contemporary but relaxed feel with a quality kitchen at its heart with a dishwasher (tablets provided), oven, gas cook top, coffee machine (BYO Dolce Gusto pods) and microwave.

The dining area spills onto the rear deck allowing that indoor/outdoor feel even when you are eating inside.

You will sleep in comfort in one of the four extremely spacious bedrooms that have been thoughtfully furnished. Two contain queen beds and the other two have two king singles each. The master bedroom has adjoining ensuite. Both queen rooms are discretely separate offering complete privacy.

All bedrooms have large built-ins with plenty of coat hangers, comfortable beds and a range of pillows to suit every sleeper. You will drift off to sleep with the surf singing!

Both the ensuite and main shower room include plenty of hot water no matter how many guests!

Lucy's Escape will cater perfectly for families, groups of friends and couples. Your days will be filled with sun and sand, nights will be enjoyed on the fully undercover rear deck with our large gas BBQ and your good red!

A large alfresco dining area takes pride of place deep within the rear garden. Constructed of sand stone crazy paving, a bespoke solid timber dining table and benches, two swinging hammocks.
(PLEASE NOTE: Any form of camping, tents, plastic inflatable pools, tarps, 'SLIP n SLIDES' etc are not allowed in garden under any circumstance due to possible lawn damage)

You may also wish to visit the site of Lucy's sister property PORTSEA, privately owned and managed by the same owners.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not charge fees for enjoying your holiday with pets therefore
pets are allowed with Management approval only. Please declare at time of enquiry. And because we do not charge, bedding and feeding utensils are not supplied, Owners must bring what is needed for their pets comfort. It is recommended that all pets be tick protected at all times. Maximum 2 dogs at any one time.

EXTENDED CHECK IN/OUT TIMES can be arranged at an additional fee of $40 per hour beyond advertised times. Guest request will be subject to availability and only with prior Management consent. Maximum increase 2 hours.

Lovely spacious home for a family beach getaway!
We stayed at Lucy's retreat in January 2024. We found the home to be quite spacious and well-appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The house was very tastefully decorated and was a lovely place to spend a week. The house a short walk to the beach and walking distance to the shops, and bowling club. The owners were friendly and accommodating.

Doggy beach stay at Lucy’s Culburra beach
Lucy’s place was beyond perfection for us! We are county folk and wanted to have a few days at a beach with our dogs……. A very new venture for us. Lucy’s was perfectly dog friendly, inside and out. The dogs were so happy and the totally secure backyard ensured they were safe but still LOTS for them and us humans to explore. The house was lovely and clean, bedroom’s spacious and bed very comfortable and bathrooms modern and well designed. Lovely private yard with pretty established gardens. Great location only 100 metres from the beach. Only disappointment was we were hardly there as we were in the area for a wedding so basically only slept there. Would love to go back again and take out little dog and really enjoy this lovely property

Lucy's Escape was great! It was clean, well stocked, good selection of games, quality linen, fantastic garden for relaxing, several places to sit together as a group. It is close to beach and shops, quiet neighbourhood, it has interesting artwork and is maintained to a high standard. Booking/checkin process was very smooth and the owner was great to deal with from my first enquiry. We highly recommend this property and we would definitely like to return. Thanks!!!

We had a great 5 night stay. The house is extremely comfortable and in a convenient location to the dog friendly beach and the shops and cafes. Garden was very secure for our Border Collie with plenty for her to investigate. Kitchen very well equipped and clean and the house was lovely and warm now that the nights are getting chilly.

An excellent pet-friendly property in an excellent location
Culburra Beach was a fantastic place for our short holiday. Easy walk to beach and shops, with plenty of options for eating out/takeaway. The house was very spacious with a fantastic outdoor space, incuding firepits and hammocks. The yard is very secure for dogs, with high fencing and lockable gates. Kim and Chris were very responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay here again.

The only thing we were disappointed about was that we couldn’t stay longer! We loved our stay in this very comfortable property that had everything we needed and more for our group including our fur baby! Lounging around in the backyard was a delight, the kitchen had everything we needed to have a big BBQ lunch with friends who were staying nearby and the hot outdoor shower was a great surprise after we came back from the beach on cooler autumn evenings. Such a lovely stay and we hope we can visit again one day. Kim was super easy to deal with and we can highly recommend staying at Lucy’s escape!

It was a great house with plenty of seating in the dining area & in the lounge. The backyard was fabulous with the hammocks and sun lounges, perfect for an afternoon siesta after a morning at the beach (which is at the end of the road, a minute walk away). A/c was much appreciated in the main living but the ocean breeze was also great. A great place for 4 couples to get away from the rat race & play giant Jenga!

Great location and a lovely property
The property was comfortable, beautifully presented and very clean. It was lovely not feeling like I wanted to take everything out of cluttered cupboards and wash it before use. The kitchen is really well equipped and everything you need is there. The garden is wonderful. All adults, children and doggies enjoyed various aspects of exploring the garden. It is secure even for small dogs. One point to note though is that if you have a little doggy that likes to get into dark places and hide, it is easy for them to get under the shed or deck and potentially get stuck. What can I say about the hosts? Every interaction we had with them was easy, courteous and pleasant. I would not hesitate to recommend guests to stay at any of their properties. Thank you so much for your kindness and consideration throughout our stay. The only minor suggestions for improvement would be water bowls available for dogs and fly screens on all opening windows. Because of the lovely sea breezes it is great to be able to open up at night for coolness but the mozzies are prolific in that part of the world. We had a wonderful time and were sorry to leave.

I have been staying in a few places in Culburra beach as we loved the area, service and the beach. Kim's place was the best overall, the garden backyard was absolutely amazing for adults, kids and dogs, the house is clean and beds are super comfortable, the beach is just 3 minutes walk. Loved our stay and would love to vome back again.

Great tranquil house
Better than the photos ! Great four bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. Could do with ceiling fans in all bedrooms as air flow not great but air conditioning in main room a bonus. Lovely pet friendly backyard and clean well equipped kitchen. We cooked Christmas dinner in it and it was perfect. Could do with spare gas stove top lighters

Relaxing Family Time
This house is the perfect place to relax with family including our furry friends. Walking distance to the beach and shops. The garden was the place to be at the end of the day with the whole family finding a place to relax. The outdoor shower made it easy to keep sand out of the house. The beds were very comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep.
