"Stayed in New Quay many times but this was our first stay at The Penwig and it didnt disappoint. We booked a sea view room which was lovely as you could sit in the morning and watch the dolphins out in the bay. The room was spacious and spotless. The breakfasts were tasty with a few choices and also catered for vegetarians. The staff were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. There is no onsite parking but we used the carpark around the corner. It does get a bit noisey early in the am with deliveries to the pub and surrounding businesses etc but it wouldnt deter us in staying again."

"The customer service is second to none. I cannot compliment this hotel enough. Prompt fridndly check in, super vlean favilities with a quaint comfortable bedroom. The chef is excellent (mh brother is a chef snd havinv lived in aasia im picky sith Asian cusine setved out of the continent. It was outstanding). The waiting staff were very professional and friendly. I had only intended on staying a night and booked a second because of the great setvice"

"This hotel was a real find. A lovely stay and was a real lovely place to come back to at the end of a busy day out. The rooms were very well appointed modern, clean with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. If I had to be really picky I would have liked a wider range of food available for breakfast as in a selection of bread not just brown or white sliced, and freshly prepared fresh fruit. Alternatives for people who do not appreciate English Breakfast at that early time in the morning. But overall an excellent stay."
