The space

The cottage is on two levels. The upstairs has a bathroom and three bedrooms. The downstairs has a kitchen, dining and living rooms and. WC. Stairs connect the two hallways.

Child bedrooms

For 0-2 we provide a cot, high chair and babies bath ... the cot can be put in any of the rooms.
For older children please confirm age, boy or girl and where they fancy sleeping as we provide matched bed cloths for them to make there experience more unique. As we have a bespoke children's room with an amazing cabin bed we also would like to know which child sleeps on the top and bottom beds.

Nice location
Very enjoyable stay. The house has everything you need. The local area is lovely. We visited Abergavenny, Raglan Castle, Usk, (a great farm museum and Wendy’s private restaurant). The town of Crickhowell is a nice walk away and food at The Red Dragon was delicious!

Deceivingly spacious cottage
Looks small from the front but is actually very spacious, plenty of room for us family of 4, and can accommodate more. Located in a lovely picturesque village with a stream at the rear of the house. Well equipped with everything you could need, our 5 year old loved having all the toys and bunk bed. Stopped for a few nights for a nearby wedding, was ideal for us. Nice couple of treats left from the owners too.

Great Location
The property is very well equipped and there was a good range of basic kitchen ingredients - oil, vinegar, herbs, rice, pasta etc. The location is excellent for a variety of walks right from the front door ranging from gentle walks by the river and canal to more strenuous ones up the surrounding mountains and darrens. The Horse Shoe pub is convenient and has a Jamaican themed menu. There are more pubs and restaurants 15 mins walk away in Crickhowell.

A lovely surprise!
I had booked this place for myself and 3 friends who simply needed a bed for the night for a rugby weekend. In fact what we got was a lovely, comfortable and very well equipped “home from home” and we would all have even happy to stay for a week or more! It had everything we wanted, was clean, easy to find and in a lovely village. Easy walking distance (10 mins) to Crickhowell so we didn’t try the even close pub or restaurant both of which looked nice. The log fire was a real treat as were the bara brith and prosecco kindly left by the owners. I would definitely book again!
