Lovely hotel, great base to explore Llyn Peninsula

We were very impressed with the Lion Hotel in Criccieth. It is in a great position with plenty of parking. It is a traditional character hotel, clean, well maintained and decorated with lovely staff. It was also great value, would recommend as a base to explore the beautiful Llyn Peninsula.

Good place to stay in Criccieth

Decent hotel - typical old hotel building that's been progressively modernized. The staff are friendly, the breakfast was good, and the room was comfortable - if small. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Great stay, good location to explore the area. Free parking, good Wi-Fi, good breakfast. The bed was a a little soft but personal preference. The hotel had everything we needed for a comfy family stay. Staff were also all very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

Nice pub/hotel in Criccieth. A small seaside town, just outside Porthmadog, but without the crowds. Good size car park and public transport, if you wish to have acar free day.
