"The owners who are mom and son are just the angels of the place. They go an extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and not go hungry. The property is awesome and the bar though small had all the goodies one needs. The Son is a true human being. We reached late and the dining was closed for the night. Even then he made sure that we got something to eat and made some fries and bread with butter and treated us to a very local peach schnapps to top the experience. The Mom is an excellent chef and you do not want to miss her homestyle cooking."

"Really enjoyed this hotel. Have a nice bar that you can also access from outside. Beautiful beach and pool area. It is about a 12 minute walk to the ferry. And sometimes it can be slightly noisy. My neighbor kept me up fighting with her boyfriend. Finally called down to the desk and they had it resolved in less than 5 minutes. My friends also got their laundry washed by hotel. So that was a great service. Lots of cruise liners (Viking) use that hotel. Again quite beautiful. "

"We had a great 3 night stay at this lovely, good value hotel. The room was spacious and clean with a balcony with a wonderful lake view. The breakfast included in the price offers a great choice of cold cut meats, cheeses, bread, jams and cereals. But what really made our stay memorable was the staff. The kind male owner was so friendly at check in, offering lots of literature and information for local restaurants, transport and events. "Wonderful hotel at a very affordable price. The staff is so nice they even did our laundry for only 10 CHF. The room was so spacious with 2 bunk beds and 2 beds in separate rooms. All this plus Beautiful views of the town and mountains. Also very central 10 minutes from town center and train station. Excellent ! Do highly recommend ! "
