"Such a beautiful place! A great house with great facilities and very clean throughout. The outside space is brilliant - different areas along the main patio with a BBQ and different seating (a table, deckchairs, a hammock and sofas) and then there's a decking area with sunloungers by the pool. There's a lawned area and some swings for the kids and then all of this is surrounded by lots of land with orange trees and fig trees and so much space! We loved it.It's a few minutes walks into the village which has a small supermarket and a couple of small local cafes. Corouche is 20 mins by car and has three big supermarkets so very easy to stock up. And you can arrange to have the baker drop by every day to buy fresh bread and cakes, which were great.We met the hosts on arrival and they were so welcoming and helpful. And we were in touch during the week (to arrange the baker visits) and were always very responsive and keen to assist. Thank you so much for that and for letting us stay and enjoy your fabulous property. We very much hope to return. "

"The hotel itself is wonderful. There is a bar and restaurant on the first floor, and free breakfast in that restaurant from 7 in the morning until 10 in the morning. The water pressure on the showerhead is very good, though there wasn't a shower curtain. There are ATMs all around, and Burger King, McDonald's, and KFC are near for Uber Eats. You should only stay here if you have a way to get to the more urban part of Lisbon that's not Uber. If you're planning on hanging out in Saldanha for example, you're better off staying near Saldanha. Otherwise you'll spend a ton on Uber, negating the great price this hotel offers. BUT if you have people who'll take you around, have a car rented, or are willing on going on long bus rides, then you'll be fine."

"Friendly staff. Bar is open 24/7 with patio seating. Parking on-site was a key benefit. The whole old city is walkable from the hotel."

"Wonderful property, loved the historic parts and the renovations. The rooms in the newer wings are very modern. The gardens and pool area are very relaxing. Restaurants are good quality and the included breakfast buffet is really above and beyond. The staff was very responsive to service requests as well. All in all a great experience!!!"
