The property was nice, it was big enough for our family and the beach is within walking distance. It had all the necessary amenities for a family including games and toys. The beds were comfortable. The pool was nice as well. On the other side, I was a bit disappointed with the property description. The description said it was 1 minute walk to the beach, which lead me to believe it was a beach front property and it's not. You have to walk across the street and 2 parking lots. Also, no where on the description it mentioned (unless I totally missed it) that is was located on the second floor with NO elevator. I had my parents with me and mom has some health issues,so for her walking up and down the stairs was a challenge. I have rented vrbo properties in several occasion, typically in the past once I have made my reservation, I immediately get some type of communication from the owner or manager stating they have received my reservation. About a week prior I will get another email stating instructions and that they will be followed by the check in codes, typically a day or two prior to arrival. This time around I received no communication at all. I was concerned about the status of the property due to the hurricane that had just passed. I emailed requesting info and received no answer. The night before I had not received any check in instructions (I was getting nervous at this point), I emailed once again and finally received information about 8:50pm that night. At check out, I texted the manager to let her know about us checking out and never received any kind of response from her.
