"The staff were probably the best part of this experience, very nice. Very well pick you up and bring you back to the airport for a fee. The restaurant at the hotel has a good dinner however the breakfast was 50/50 for me. The hotel is within walking distance of the town. This area is safe nothing to be concerned with with regard to walking day or night that I could ascertain. However the hotel will take you when you need to go. The rooms are fine the air conditioning worked fine the bed was comfortable lots of pillow options. Spirit is a beautiful stream running through the property that makes a peaceful sound. There is a golf course at the property it was nice to look at, but the location is in a rainforest like environment. "

"El Cielo is new and clean. Off of the main road but very close to all the restaurants and stores. Staff was very attentive and helpful when we needed anything. Would stay here again. "

"Only reason for not giving 5 stars for all measures is because they are constructing a new wing and a house across the street. Cut down on the peaceful escape i was hoping for. The hotel did send a notification (appreciated) but it was after booking on Expedia who offered no refund. "

"Wonderful cabin and helpful staff! We loved the natural beauty. We used as a base to hike to sunrise on Volcan Baru. Zip line was a kick. A bit out of the way, but worth it."

"We felt like we stayed in the Shire with the hobbit style rooms, and the castle provided an ambiance of elegance. The staff accommodated for my mobility challenged wife like she was family. "
