We knew it was going to be a late night and didn’t want to drive back to the valley so we decided to book here and we were so glad we did. When one member of our party wanted to leave we were able to take them to the VRBO and get right back to the celebration. The place is clean, nicely furnished and a great location if you are staying in Black Canyon City. We were very happy with our stay and extremely happy with the location "

"This place is rad-tastic! No t.v., no internet! Just a quiet, peaceful, one of a kind place at the foot of the Mingus Mountains! The Host was super communicative, friendly amd informative! Beautiful view of the the forest in all directions! Plus. This place is literally 200' from the Verde River!!! You hear it and your chillaxin!!! My suggestion!!! Move the table to there the Murphy bed it, put together a puzzle, olay 9nenof the many board games provided, and open the french door! Get comfy and hopefully youll see deer!!!! Like we did!!! Thank you for an amazing stay!!!! "

"To say our stay at the lovely "Rustic Retreat" was everything we'd hoped it would be, is an extreme understatement!Everything was perfect....and so much better than the pictures portrayed . We spent most of our time outdoors...nestled among the ponderosa pines....soaking in the sun and the crisp mountain air. Inside was cozy and intimate....just right for we two. All the amenities were well thought out as well....and Sona was an amazing host.Cant wait to do it again....we will be back! "
