I would describe it as an awesome rustic build while being furnished with a very nice modern ( high end stove, fridge and gorgeous farm sink) .This house was extremely neat, clean and included kitchen essentials ( salt, coffee, seasoning’s etc).It also had beautiful thick bath towels to go with a claw foot tub!! "The heron's nest was just what we were looking for, a quiet, comfortable cabin with a beautiful lake view. We will definitely stay here again when we get back to Maine."

"Property was neat and clean. Provided with napkins tissues toiletries towels detergent basic kitchenette etc. it is located 10mins from Ellsworth and about 50 mins from acadia. Has bunk bed, small bed, futon and queen Size mattress. Has washer and dryer, which means reuse more and less to pack. It gets very dark in the night and can do star gazing. Overall worth it."
