"Location was very good, convenient to buses, shops. Short walk to town center. The rental was as described, with the exception of the following: floor looked clean, but needed a good washing, as our feet got dirty quickly. The patio, which had a lot of weeds and the patio furniture was dirty, with an ashtray full of old cigarette butts. The mattresses need upgrading as we could feel the springs and made for not the best nights sleep. The blinds in the front bedroom looked like they had been...

"Really clean beautiful apartment, right next to the town centre. The only problem for us is it’s right on the main road into Cheltenham and it’s used as a race track after 11pm. Even with ear plugs, we were kept awake till 2am on both nights. Not the owners fault as we knew what we were booking, and he was brilliant, but just something to think about if you have come for a relaxing break. No air con, but large fans are provided, so in the summer it’s gonna be pretty warm."

"Lou’s view was a very comfortable cottage which suited our needs whilst we were there for a couple of days. The only thing that I feel that needs to be considered to be updated is the shower in the grey bathroom as the hot/cold water knob didn’t turn so we felt the water was tepid. The hot water boost wasn’t that effective either even when we turned it in early so 2 out of the 4 of us had cold showers. "The manager was wonderful and the rooms very comfortable and well appointed. It made for a excellent stay near the hospital and was convenient to downtown shopping and food. The Brewery District is a couple minute walk and great for a bite and pint. "

Quaint & wonderful inn
"My husband & I stayed in The Slaughter Country Inn for 5 nights during our visit to the Cotswolds. The service at the inn, along with in their restaurant, was top-notch. The meals at the inn were excellent, much better than we have experienced in most inns in the U.S. The cottage that we stayed in was roomy and comfortable with a living room downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. They put bottled waters and cookies to accompany our tea or coffee in the room every day. Additionally, we enjoyed staying in Lower Slaughter as it is one of the quieter villages in the Cotswolds. I highly recommend staying at this inn. Thank you for a lovely stay. "
