Only 75 minutes from Seattle, unwind in our hot tub with a spectacular view on a huge private deck. You’ll take in the sweeping views and stunning sunsets from Peoh Point to the Cascades to the Stuart Mountains. At night the stars come out for incredible stargazing. And with backyard access to the Iron Horse Trail and the Yakima River to snowshoe, fish, bike, hike, float, jog and explore, it’s all right here all year.

This is River 'n Trails Cabin, the perfect getaway to enjoy the spectacular great outdoors year ‘round, or to just get away from it all.

Sleeps 12 guests comfortably in an easy, flowing home on 3-acres. River 'n Trails Cabin is approximately 2,000 square feet with lots of natural light featuring 1 King, 1 Queen, 4 bunks and a Queen sofa sleeper. We have recently upgraded our Wifi with Starlink and now have blazing fast internet for multiple devices. There is a large, well equipped kitchen with a breakfast nook and a dining room table for 6 in the great room. You’ll have space to breathe yet you’re just a couple of miles to downtown Cle Elum and Roslyn, a couple of the most historic and charming towns in all of Washington State.

The Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail (f.k.a. - Iron Horse Trail)is perfect for snowshoeing, leisurely walks, jogging or bike rides, and direct access to Yakima River—the premier trout fishing river in Washington—for fly fishing or floating just 40 yards from our property. There is bank access to a lot of wade-able fishing adjacent to our property.

The river in front of our property is braided with access to smaller water in addition to the main channel of the river. Or bring a bike and ride down the trail for miles of river access. In addition, there are local guide services for a day of some of the best trout fishing in the state.

The ping pong table, horseshoe pit, foosball, 3 adult bikes and a children's bike help make fun easy! Golf is nearby at Sun Country or Suncadia. In the winter, you can cross country ski or snowshoe for miles from the backyard on the Iron Horse Trail.

Take advantage of the events in Ellensburg just 30 minutes away. It’s only 45 minutes to Leavenworth or just 35 minutes to Snoqualmie.

Or never leave the property, enjoy the hot tub, stove fireplace and stunning views.

Either way, River ‘n Trails will be a magic destination that you’ll want to return to again and again.

So bring your gear, enjoy the outdoors and spend the evening relaxing in the hot tub or by the fireplace. The view of the stars at night are truly amazing.

We charge an extra guest fee of $15 per person per night over 4 guests.

Adorable getaway
The view was great and reasonably priced. The house needs a lot of updates and TLC. Bathrooms were small, and it was difficult to shower. Linins were in poor condition, and beds need to be updated as well. It didnt feel like a BRBO, more like someone's cabin with their personalbelongings left behind, but the owners were friendly and easy to work with.

Good value and beautiful views
This property has amazing views and a ton of space. The kitchen and living room are great! The proximity to Cle Elum and the Yakima River is fantastic. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness as the smaller bathroom (especially the shower) had a pretty strong odor. The bathroom looked clean, but because there is no fan, there is probably mold somewhere. Also, the faucet water did not taste very good, so you may want to bring your own. (I'm sure the water is safe, but it did have a distinct metallic quality.) Finally, I gave 4 stars for the listing accuracy due to the air conditioning set-up. While the house does have 3 air conditioning units (2 in the kitchen/living room and 1 in the large bedroom), it does not have central A/C. Therefore, the two smaller bedrooms were extremely hot the days we were there. (Day temps were in the mid 90s.) We made do with the fans that were provided, but individuals who need/want a cooler sleeping temp may have a hard time during the summer in those bedrooms.

Perfect spot for a buddies fly fishing weekend. The four of us had ample room to bunk up and lounge around for the weekend. The river access and views off the back deck were real perks. Refresh Extravaganza Womens Retreat Crew House
Well, we are so so happy with this rental. We have stayed there multiple times. Usually this is our place for 10 days during a women retreat. And recently we came back for a fun friends and family birthday celebration. We have been there in a October, January, April, and coming up again this July. The access to the river and woods is a beautiful big plus! It is very cozy and comfortable at and around the house. Mornings and sunsets are spectacular. It is so very tranquil and quiet. And neighbors are helpful and friendly. Also sweet invites to go say hi to the neighbors Alpacas, Cheech and Chong!! We highly recommend experiencing this wonderful rental. It was OK
Overall it was a fun time and beautiful location with plenty of space. We had 8 people. The things that need improved are the following- guest bed frame was broken and the mattress was very old. Was unsure if we would be on the ground in the morning. The french door on patio was broken as well at the jamb and was very drafty. We thought we didn't have enough towels but as we were checking out we found all the towels still in the dryer. The dishes were still in the dishwasher we had to put them away in order to use the dishwasher. Make sure you take bottled water because the water is horrible! Even to shower it is bad. I would suggest another night stand in the master and better lighting over the table. At night playing games there was not enough light. There was plenty of kitchen supplies which was nice. Another big suggestion is a water filter system, this would definately make this place a better place to visit.

Comfortable home in the 1980s style with the most amazing views and the best sledding hill we have ever been on. A water filtration system to clean out the iron and sulfur from the water (that smells quite bad) would make it a better vacation home.

Great property for a relaxing getaway in the snow
Our family enjoyed sledding on the property, soaking in the hot tub with beautiful views and spending time together inside the spacious house. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Plenty of bedding and towels. The kids loved the ping pong table in the garage. The adults enjoyed sitting on the love seat situated in front of the large windows, looking out over the property and watching the snow fall. A wonderful family property! I bet it is great in the summer too.

We stayed at this property for our family Thanksgiving celebration and we were surprised at how spacious and comfortable it was. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The hot tub was an added perk and the view was beautiful. The bedrooms were nice, too. We would suggest bringing bottled water for drinking, however, we cooked with the water and it was fine. It was a lovely place to stay.

Great family getaway
We booked this property for a post-Thanksgiving gathering and it was perfect. We had 3 kids with us & there was plenty of room for them to play & the bunk beds were perfect. The only downside was the smell of the water, everyone thought that it was a bit intense for it being well water as we have well water at our house as well. We chose to buy water to drink because of this. But, aside from that it was perfect & the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a large meal. Having access to the hot tub was also a huge bonus. i’d recommend staying here!
