Tiny House Living in North Georgia

400 square foot tiny house in a safe and beautiful gated tiny home community. Built 2019. Queen size bedroom on main level, full kitchen, and comfortable living area with TV. Loft has two twin mattresses for kids! Pet friendly for up to two friendly dogs, leash required. Large covered front porch. Community has multiple fire pits, stone picnic tables, and beautiful spring fed creek. Clubhouse has large outdoor fireplace with huge TV on a covered porch. Easy drive to Helen, Tiger, Cornelia, and Clayton. House is just 3 miles from Lake Burton. LaPrades Marina is great with rentals and restaurants: https://lapradesmarina.com/

Provided in home:
— travel size shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion
— Salt, pepper, coffee, filters and a small selection of teas
—cooking oil
—tin foil
— dish soap
— hand soaps in kitchen and bathroom
— paper towels
— toilet paper
—sponges
— laundry detergent on top of the laundry machine

There are towels in the drawer in the bedroom, and extra pillows in the small closet area. The twin beds upstairs each have a warm blanket, and the master bed has a warm blanket and coverlet.

Fun tip, the barstools also work great as end tables for the sofa!

Note: A neighbor gifted me their charcoal grill! It’s in the driveway, but I haven’t set it up yet.

Generac generator will turn itself on within a minute after a power outage! It will keep the basics all running seamlessly: fridge, lights, TV, microwave. You will NOT be able to use the stove or the washer/dryer. The generator will turn itself off when power is restored. You should still have Wi-Fi during the outage unless the actual Kinetic Internet is out.
Note: the generator runs itself every Friday at 3 PM for about five minutes, so don’t worry if you hear it running! It will not interrupt anything in the house during this time.

Cute and cozy
Our family had a nice stay here. Our kids loved the loft bed area. The tiny cabin neighborhood is very cute, just note that each cabin is only a few feet from the other cabins. For wifi access, we found it better to connect to the neighbor's wifi. The un/pw are given by the host which is helpful. (The signal of the cabin interrupts streaming if watching a movie in the living room). Overall, it was a clean and comfortable stay!

Great family getaway
Had to travel to the area for a wedding and considered camping but decided to go the tiny house route instead. The house was a perfect home base for a couple of days of cold, rainy hikes and to recover and get ready for a nearby winery wedding. Cozy, but not cramped, easy to get to, and just generally perfect for a family (with kid and dog!) getaway! Host was responsive, helpful, and super easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Getaway Overflow
The tiny home was perfect for our stay! Our son has a home on the lake not far from here so we used our golf cart to go back and forth from his home. We got to experience the joy of being with family and grandchildren and also the peace of going back to our tiny home to get rested up and have a little quiet time. The location is great! Just a short walk to Bleu Canoe for awesome food and so close to the lake. We had access to the lake but if not, it would be easy to rent a boat at Laprades right down the street. The only problem we had is that when we showed it to our grandsons they wanted us to take their room at the lakehouse and they wanted to stay in the tiny home!! Clean, well equipped, great location. We loved it!!

Stay at #14
Everything was as advertised and very clean. Just to need to clarify that the upstairs bedroom of this domicile has VERY steep steps and is only about 3 feet tall. Small children would need to be watched very carefully going up and down the stairs. Other than that all was very nice and in a wonderful neighborhood -- very quiet and all of the neighbors were very friendly.

Tiny House Community
We enjoyed our time in this tiny home, which is part of a tiny home community. The location is a bit remote but that is exactly what we wanted. You are still in very short driving distance to a general store that has what you might need in a pinch (water, bread, milk, etc) and you are in walking distance to a great restaurant, Blue Canoe. I always wondered what it would be like to live in a tiny home and now I got a taste of it. Check in/ out was easy and host offered us an early check in, which was nice!

Super Cute Tiny House!
We stayed here for a long weekend and absolutely loved it! Super cute tiny house community perfectly positioned between lots of cute North GA towns. We visited Dillard and Helen on this trip but definitely plan to come back soon. The owner was friendly, answered text’s promptly & ready with ‘must see’ suggestions during our stay.

Great weekend get away!
Jama is a wonderful host, her tiny house has many thoughtful touches, very well stocked. Quality linens and very comfortable beds. As others mentioned our kids were in heaven with the loft area and backyard creek. A very welcoming and kind neighborhood, we felt very safe. Minor inconvenience is the internet didn’t connect for us, but we would gladly come stay again despite this. The tiny home experience is really fun, and the location is convenient to so many attractions. We visited baby land general hospital on the way up! Ann ruby falls, tallulah gorge state park, and Helen were all a short scenic drive away.

Cozy, Peaceful and Adventurous!
We had a great time staying at the tiny house! The kids loved their own personal space in the loft (may want a little fan in the summer months). Some card/board games may be a nice addition for when the internet is spotty. We loved the quiet setting, and gated community. We had issues with the key pad entry but Jama quickly fixed it! The house is close to lots of little hikes. Thanks Jama!
