"A really superb house! We enjoyed the space and the garden, shame about the weather that we couldn't use the hot tub.Great owners, there if needed but not seen otherwise, friendly dog although it was initially a bit disconcerting when it came into the garden.Would definitely return."

"The property was a great size, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again if up that way."

"The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!"

"I loved this house, it was bright, roomy and really lovely to stay in. The location was great, there’s some building work nearby but that didn’t affect us at all. It has beautiful views and is really close to Kippford to walk to. I wouldn’t change anything"

"Old cottage with some modern touches, ideal for a holiday in West Cumbria. Comfortable for 4 with a dog. Some furnishings seemed a little tired, but beds were comfy and for the price, it couldn't have been a better stay."

"Cosy, well equipped cottage with a lovely view. Our elderly parents loved that they didn't have to go anywhere to enjoy the beach and they could get out for easy walks. With amenities just a few minutes drive away and local to wildlife viewing options this worked well for us. None of us were keen to leave."

A lovely place to stay.

"I enjoyed my overnight stay. There is plenty of parking, the reception area is spacious and welcoming, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious and light with windows on 2 sides. The food I had for dinner and breakfast was very good. "
