"Very nice, clean, and fun home. Moose Lake is quiet and remote. We enjoyed the fire pit, pool table, internet, game room, kitchen, deck, kayaks, and dock. Our kids enjoyed the beds, but I’m not a fan of the mattresses. Amazon soft mattresses from a box seem to be the norm now in rental homes. If you like that, you’ll be comfortable. My wife and I prefer firm mattresses. Fishing is solid… caught walleye from 10 - 17 inches. Also caught Muskie, northern, small mouth, and perch. I would not consider Moose Lake a swimming, tubing, skiing lake. The lake is shallow with a lot of stumps, etc. The water is dark as coffee. This is all good for walleye fishing:) However, the host provides a swimming mat which is cool.The home is remote, but we enjoyed the solitude. A couple good restaurants close by. JB moose shack is crazy good. It looks like a simple bar restaurant, but the food…. Steak… is delicious.The only downside is that it is a 40 minute drive to Hayward and you have to drive on gravel roads for awhile.If we rented a home on Moose Lake again, we will stay here for sure."

"We had the most perfect time at this beautiful cabin. It was very clean, very well maintained, and the property was absolutely perfect. The hosts were very responsive with any questions that I had. Check in and check out process was very easy. They provided everything we needed and there was so much to do. Would 100% recommend this place! "

"Nice property on garden lake.Close to Forest Ridges golf course and several nice restaurants and bars. It was cool in the evenings so we enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and wood stove."

"Came up here with my dog for some time to disconnect, hang out, and do some fishing. Very cute, clean cabin with all the necessities. Our stay was very quiet and relaxing.Lots of little panfish right off the dock (and somehow I also reeled in a catfish?) along with a few larger ones. Great for some catch-and-release fishing.It was a little too windy and rainy to light up the campfire but the host does provide firewood on site which I thought was great.10/10 would stay again"

"We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property. We have spent over 25 years vacationing in northern MN and WI at resorts and this was our first rental of a private cabin. Beautifully maintained property inside and out. On a quiet marsh that takes you to the lake, so we saw an eagle, loons, ducks, geese, and heron along with all kinds of other wildlife. Clean cabin with a well equipped kitchen and dry wood for the fireplace (rare in our experience). Great to have space between our cabin and neighbors so quiet and private. Very responsive owner. Plan to return next year! "

"Great space for guiding a yoga class on the main floor. Had a blanket of snow fall so we had a great time with our snowshoes and cross country skis. Prepared some delicious meals using the kitchen. My friends enjoyed the space."
